Job SummarySkillfully operate and maintain an asphalt roller and other asphalt-related equipment for various heavy construction projects.
ResponsibilitiesEffectively perform equipment pre-trip inspection to ensure proper machine operation and safetyRecord and report deficienciesSafely and efficiently operate asphalt screed, roller, and other support equipment in rough terrainFollow verbal and/or written direction with safe work habitsEducationHigh school diploma or GEDRequirements/QualificationsClass C licenseReliable attendanceAbility to operate heavy equipment such as asphalt screed and rollerMust be proficient in asphalt rakingMust be able to work independently and within a teamPrior experience operating asphalt-related equipmentMust be able to work in rough terrain and adverse climate conditionsAbility to follow written and verbal directionsMust be able to work in a safety-conscious mannerAbility to lift 50 lbsPreferred:
