Project Manager

Central Coast construction firm looking for an Assistant Project Manager for their Santa Maria office.
The company works with clients from Ventura to San Luis Obispo.
The job pays $15-$20 hr based on experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
? Windows, Excel, Word, Acrobat, Email, Outlook.
? CAD? Basic understanding of Construction Plans.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
? Report to the Project Mangers? Follow up on material orders.
? Process Building permits.
? Track utility orders.
? Update construction documents between the office and the Job site.
? Research materials and subcontractors.
? Perform basic material counts from plans.
? Send out bid requests to subcontractors.
? Track subcontractor questions (RFIs).
? Create spread sheets in excel.
? Maintain digital, and paper, Job files.
? Photograph job sites.
? Maintain plans on-line for estimating.
? Track company equipment.
? Maintain contact lists.
? Keep minutes of meetings, make meeting reports.
? Help the interior designer to document, draw plans or details.
Experience:
? At least 2 years experience in Construction, Engineering or Architecture.
? A college degree.
Personal Characteristics:
? Must enjoy planning meetings, organizing schedules, etc.
Must be a team player, a respectful and clear communicator and must have good telephone etiquette.
? Able to prioritize tasks.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
