Agricultural Economist Data ModelerFull-Time Position in Santa Maria, CAGeneral Description:
We are looking for someone to compare the costs of implementing standard, regionaland commodity specific food safety measures throughout a supply chain.
Youll collaborate with our data teamto understand the food safety supply chains of our customers and model the financial impacts of implementingfood safety measures and where possible linking costs with available epidemiological or related data.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with multi-national team of scientists (microbiologists, agronomists, etc.
) and programmers Design and implement analytics that provide clients with enhanced value from their food safety budgets Developing flexible algorithms allowingo Suppliers compliance with current and changing regulatory and buyer demands,o Buyer evaluation of supplier compliance with specific expectations,o Allied industries ability to evaluate safety efforts and conduct risk assessments Explore life science data to discover and create new value Developing models for solving clients high-value business problemsCompensation:
Salary dependent upon skills and experience.

Education & Experience Degreed Agricultural Economist (MS or PhD preferred) Experience in statistics, modeling (the development and implementation of algorithms) Deep understanding of multiple mathematical modelsCompetencies Creativity, self-starter, ability to collaborate with teams composed of varied disciplines and nationalities Excellent analytical abilities Ability to demonstrate mathematics, statistics and modeling experience Effective implementation of software and technologies Preference for candidates with experience with Bayesian Reasoning, Machine Learning, RGraphics.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
