Selection Criteria:
Three years nursing experience in an acute care hospital required One year case management in an acute care hospital preferred Bachelors degree from an accredited school of nursing required (current incumbents are exempt from this criteria) Working knowledge of the RN scope of practice, current state requirements, CMS Conditions of Participation, EMTALA, Patient Bill of Rights, AB1203 and other federal or state regulatory requirement as specific to Utilization Review and Discharge Planning required Certification appropriate for the position preferred (CCM, ABQAURP or ACM) Current California nursing license required
