has been servicing the Santa Maria Valley since 1925 and is looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual ready to lead as a Laundry Plant Production Manager! This individual must be able to perform in a faced paced environment, possess great communication skills, and able to effectively manage over 50 employees on production floor.
This position reports directly to the Plant Operations Manager.
Job
Responsibilities:
Coordinates with Operations Manager to implement all assigned tasks, procedures and policies on a daily basis.
Reports any and all issues to the General Manager and/or Human Resources.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards.
Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, budgetary and personnel requirements, and implementing change.
Supervise all plant production roles, to include plant supervisors.
Ensure production times are on schedule, at all times.
Ensure all employees are properly trained and adhere to safety protocols and policies at all times.
Accomplishes results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintains workflow by monitoring and upgrading processes, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources, studying methods, implementing cost reductions, developing reporting procedures and systems, facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points, and initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
Work in collaboration with the Maintenance Engineer to coordinate necessary equipment repair and maintenance.
Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Supervise janitorial employees to ensure all tasks are properly completed.
Ensure inventory controls are in place:
Coordination of linen storage and organization.
Maintain tracking system to ensure organization and accuracy of inventory goods.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and order, at all times.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Conduct daily group warm up, employee meetings, as well as routine performance reviews.
Communication to team of Route Delivery Drivers to ensure delivery schedules are operating smoothly and within appropriate time frames.
Use of daily checklists to ensure all tasks have been completed.
Assist with scheduling, including creating a weekly production schedule.
Field sick calls in order to make sure all shifts are properly filled for the day/afternoon/nights.

We have available shifts all days of the week.
Compensation is $30.
