Job Summary This job is a front-line position providing personal care, training, and social interaction outlined in each served person's individual training manual.
Typical Duties Training and assisting persons served with transferring consumers to and from bed, showers, vehicles, or toilets.
Training and assisting with bathing and dressing individuals Training and assisting with incontinence care.
Training and assisting persons served whom need help with eating.
Applying emergency response actions in crisis situations.
Working with multiple individuals in a home setting.
Documenting of staff and persons served activities.
Accompanying persons served on recreational activities or shopping.
Following approved Individual Program Plans.
Following approved Individual Training Manuals.
Performing related work when required.
Requirements:
Qualifications Handling unsupervised situations Having patience in slow communication situations Writing legibly and in proper English for documentation needs.
Willing to learn and adapt to various situations.
First Aid and CPR certified (Agency will reimburse hired employees re-certifying).
Valid CA driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
Prior experience preferred but not necessary.
Physical Requirements Free from any physical limitations that would prevent attendant from performing essential job duties, either with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Able to perform necessary transfers and hands on assistance for person served.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
